Well, what is the date on the CD?

If it was before Wayne's World , then there you go.

Was The Show Must Go On included? Love that track. Freddie was weak and near death when he recorded it, but he still belted it out like a champ.

Was it disk 2 or 3 of their latest "hits" release?

Had to post some good ones, I was inspired by Jagvar.

And to prove that Freddie was a world class frontman:

This performance at Live Aid was voted by musicians and critics to be the greatest of all time.

Rhapsody has been on every Greatest Hits release.

I bought this in '83, ('81 release) and it was on it, but oddly, not the first track.

Kinja'd!!!

Another One Bites The Dust
Bohemian Rhapsody
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Killer Queen
Fat Bottomed Girls
Bicycle Race
Under Pressure (with David Bowie)
We Will Rock You
We Are The Champions
Flash
Somebody To Love
You’re My Best Friend
Keep Yourself Alive
Play The Game

Ever since Wayne's World, it is now the lead track. The "Greatest Hits I, II & III - The Platinum Collection" was a hot, three disk mess. Live tracks with George Michael, and unreleased tracks that were unreleased for a reason.

Rhapsody was the first track on the first disk.

I love Queen, but I think these kinds of releases are nothing but an attempt to squeeze more money out of Queen fans. See: StarWars Episode 1-3

Have you read Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman? There's a running joke in there that all music (tapes, anyway) left in a car for a period of time turn into Queen's Greatest Hits. Oddly enough, that included reference to Bohemian Rhapsody, so I have no idea what sort of low-rent CD you found, you plebe.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was a random off-brand disc from before the song was "rediscovered".

That makes no sense. There are tracks I expect on a greatest hits, and that's one of them.

Since '81, there have only been two or three tracks ( Radio GaGa, I want to beak free, One Vision ) to add to a "greatest hits" record.

Why not include one of the greatest hits in history to it? Odd.

Have a photo of the cover?

Awesome. I listened to that recently as well, along with A Kind Of Magic (the full album) and the underrated Innuendo .

Kinja'd!!!

Kinja'd!!!

Still saddens me to think about Innuendo being recorded as Freddie was wasting away. The melancholy and pain in some of those songs... What a gift he gave in his last music.

Well hell. In that case I have no idea what "Best of" album you found. I have Best of Queen I and II, I has Bohemian, II is the track list I posted.

I wish thats what I found. I honestly think its something my father found at the dollar store and then left at my place when he realized how bad of a 'best of' it was.
